Monkey-Pirate-Robot-Ninja-Zombie

There's a new game in town and you'll probably all flock to it like Farmville on a work PC. Introducing, via boingboing, Monkey-Pirate-Robot-Ninja-Zombie! It's a new variation on an old game, except with sound effects, and it goes something like this:

Monkey
* Monkey fools Ninja
* Monkey unplugs Robot
Suggested noise: ee-ee-eek!

Robot
* Robot chokes Ninja
* Robot crushes Zombie
Suggested noise: ex-ter-min-ate!

Pirate
* Pirate drowns Robot
* Pirate skewers Monkey
Suggested noise: arrrrr!

Ninja
* Ninja karate chops Pirate
* Ninja decapitates Zombie
Suggested noise: keeee-ah!

Zombie
* Zombie eats Pirate
* Zombie savages Monkey
Suggested noise: braaaaaaaaaainsss!

Now call me a traditionalist but I still prefer rock-paper-scissors-lizard-spock, although the sound effects are kinda cool!

Pluto goes ballistic!

Thanks to boingboing for this interesting YouTube video of an out of control Pluto, chasing a small child around Main Street USA! My family and I are in the process of planning our own trip to Disney... I sure hope that Pluto gets a few obedience lessons before then, or the lady who puts him in his place is hired by Walt's team! Then again, the boys and I know Taekwondo so bring it on Pluto!

Tip toeing around the IT department

The Wall Street Journal has a top ten list of things the IT department won't tell you. These are tips similar to what you'll find on Lifehacker or boing boing, and covers such things as how to visit sites the IT department doesn't want you to visit or how to cover your tracks before you return the company laptop. The neat thing about this list is that it comes with it's benefits and risks clearly spelled out. Use them at your own risk, enjoy! Sorry Graham & John, I don't do any of these, honest!
