I Want My Quarters Back

ðŸŽ„ A Christmas Gift for the Kids of the ’80s 🎮

Over the past few months, I’ve been quietly building something that taps straight into my childhood: a web‑based arcade featuring my own modern takes on some of the games that defined the 1980s.

Today, I’m excited to share it: https://iwmqb.com/

What started as a fun creative break quickly turned into a full-on passion project. Pixel art, retro sound cues, tight controls, and that unmistakable arcade feel—reimagined with today’s tech.

So this Christmas, I’m offering it as a little gift to all the kids of the ’80s (and anyone who still feels like one).

If you grew up feeding quarters into arcade cabinets or discovering classics on early consoles, I hope this brings back a spark of that magic.

🕹️ Play. Nostalgize. Compete. Repeat.

And if you check it out, I’d love to hear which game hits your nostalgia nerve the hardest.

Here’s to creativity, playfulness, and keeping the retro spirit alive.

Merry Christmas!

Don't Forget The Milk!

Here is a very cool web app that has a lot of potential in it's simplicity. Think about your "honey do" list or just simple notes that you no longer have to email to yourself from the office... I expect we'll see more features; perhaps secure logins?

YuuGuu Screensharing Via Instant Messenger

Running a little behind this morning so I thought I'd simply share with you an interesting take on screensharing for collaborative working online. YuuGuu is different from services that you may be familiar with such as GoToMeeting and WebEx, in that the work is done for you via your instant messenger client. No software to download, and support is given for all of the major IM platforms such as Yahoo, MSN, AIM, and GTalk. Have a look at a more detailed description by WebWorkerDaily.
